Before the renovation begins, we're emptying everything.

Like Lisbon in Santo António mode : music, neighbours, good excuses to be out in the streets, our studio is going into full celebration. A radical romantic kermesse, kids-friendly, to empty the shelves and find a new home for every piece.

Think end-of-year school fair. Except instead of winning a goldfish, you leave with a bowl, a vase or a cup and hopefully, a smile on your face. 

 

What's happening on a radical romantic Kermesse ? 

We will make you laugh, win and play with these different games :

1.Draw a card

2.Guess the weight of a bowl

3.The Potter's wheel of fortune

4.The grand studio raffle

Tickets to win or buy throughout the day or now online - €2 each.
Prizes: unique pieces, prototypes, glaze experiments, studio surprises, 1 ceramic patate and 3 large vases made by Cecile .

5.The potter's relay, sign-up required

The most delicate challenge of the day. A ball of clay must travel across the studio, hand to hand. Each participant holds it for 5 minutes and passes it to the next. If it arrives whole: everyone wins a raffle ticket. If it falls or breaks: the chain is broken, the glory evaporates, and no one wins anything.

4 people per session. 20 minutes. Sessions at 11am, 1pm, 4pm & 7pm.

This is also your first real initiation into the world of clay, what it feels like to hold something fragile, alive, and entirely yours to protect.
