Please read these terms & conditions carefully before ordering any products from Cecile*M. You should understand that by ordering any product in our us, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.

The online store www.cecilemestelan.com is a website of e-commerce. It is edited and operated by Cecile*M, which is based in Lisbon.
Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Cecile*M.
1. Product Information
- All ceramic products are handcrafted; slight variations in colour, texture, shape and size may occur.
- All pieces are microwave, dishwasher and food safe, making it ideal for domestic and commercial use at the table and in the kitchen.
- All pieces are handmade and should be treated with care during use. In the dishwasher, make sure items are not touching. To avoid scratches on the glaze, ideally the items will either be stored in plate racks, or have linen/felt between them.
2. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in Euro (€) and are subject to change without prior notice.
- Retail customers must pay in full at the time of order.
- Project and wholesale clients must adhere to the following payment terms; 50% deposit upon order and 50% before shipping.
- Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer and Credit Card.
- Non-retail orders are subject to a minimum value of €850 (after discount).
3. Order Processing & Production Time
- Standard retail orders are processed within 2 business days, unless prior notice of delays have been given.
- Non-retail (project/wholesale ) order are processed within 5 business days, unless prior notice of delays has been given.
- Large orders may take up to 6 months to produce. Upon receipt of the deposit, an approximate timeline will be communicated.
4. Shipping & Delivery
- For custom orders, shipping costs are calculated and communicated once ready for dispatch.
- Cecile*M is not responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., customs, logistics disruptions).
- Special care is taken when packing pieces for delivery, therefore, Cecile*M can not be responsible for any damages that occur in transit.
- Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon delivery.
- Customers are responsible for shipping costs involved in exchanging items.
5. Exchanges
- Customers must report any discrepancies within 48 hours of receiving their order.
- Exchanges are accepted for items within 14 days of receipt.
- Any items being returned to Cecile*M must be well packed (the same as how the customer received them).
- Any damaged items cannot be exchanged, therefore using a trusted courier is advised.
6. Intellectual Property & Branding
- All designs, images, and content in this catalogue are the property of Cecile*M.
- Wholesale resellers must not alter or reproduce branding, logos, or packaging without prior written consent.
7. Liability & Disclaimer
- Our ceramics are made with high quality materials, but we are not liable for damages caused by improper use, handling, or maintenance.

Handmade variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for exchanges.
8. Agreement & Amendments
- By placing an order, the buyer agrees to these terms and conditions.
- We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
