In this two hour workshop, we start with the basics of clay techniques and how to make a sculpture/form.
We go through a process together and try to find a dialogue between you and your clay piece. The process could lead you to a functional and decorative object or an abstract form that would eat your soul! There you will be free.
We learn the basic techniques of working with clay but we also try to escape from them! The question is to what extent this is possible when working with the medium of clay?
We will make, but we will also destroy!
Engobe colours and oxides will also be provided if you would like to paint your art works.
Different types of recycled clay will be available to work with!

DURATION: 2 hours
LEVEL: Beginner and advanced students welcome
TIMEFRAME: We try our best to have your pieces ready for collection within 4 weeks. We will always email you to let you know when they are ready to pick up. Please note: we can only keep pieces for 1 month after you have been notified.
LANGUAGE: English, Portuguese
CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are non-refundable but you can rebook to a future class, provided you give at least 2 days notice.
NOTE: If the class does not meet a minimum number of students, unfortunately, it will be cancelled.
