Azulejo Painting Workshop

Azulejo is one of the most iconic products of the Portuguese ceramic culture. Its origins are traced back hundreds of years and its history has seen great development. Besides being a support of beautifully painted scenarios, landscapes and stories, Azulejos help keeping the Portuguese houses fresh in the summer and are also an easy surface to keep clean!

In this workshop, you will paint traditional and modern Portuguese designs we have prepared for you - using the traditional method of transfer with charcoal. There will be more colours available besides the iconic cobalt blue and yellow colours - you can be completely free in your creations. Join us in a relaxing painting session of traditional Portuguese tiles with strokes of contemporary colours.
